About Us
GEC Consulting was founded in 2005 by Marlene K. Jackson. Ms. Jackson is a California registered Professional Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer and has over 30 years of experience working on a variety of projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Her background encompasses geology, earth science, and geotechnical engineering, a relatively unique combination of study that facilitates recognition of the unique relationships between subsurface materials and their engineering characteristics.
Ms. Annmarie Behan joined GEC Consulting in 2014 with more than 13 years of geotechnical and earthquake engineering experience throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. She is a California registered Professional Engineer and Geotechnical Engineer and has been responsible for performing geotechnical investigations and seismic evaluations for various commercial, public, and residential projects, including office/commercial/R&D buildings, subdivisions, medical facilities, transportation facilities, wastewater treatment plants, nuclear power plants, utility pipelines, and water resource infrastructure.
